My work is chiefly materials driven, looking at what I have to hand before trying different combinations of colour and texture. It is the materials themselves which inspire me. I don’t plan anything on paper, just start working. Each piece is unique, never repeated, and I particularly enjoy using hand-spun, vintage, or long discontinued wools, to ensure items cannot be replicated, even by me.
